Terms of Service

You need an account to use most of the Service. You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens on your account. Tell us right away at hello@tasteitafter.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

You agree not to:

• Post anything illegal, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Upload content you don't have the right to share.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or rate-limit-evade the Service.
• Use the Service to send spam or for any automated mass-messaging.
• Impersonate another person.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice depending on severity.

Recipes, photos, comments, and other content you post stay yours. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, translate, and distribute that content inside the Service, including to other users you intend to share it with. This licence ends when you delete the content (translation caches and search indexes may take up to 30 days to purge).

You confirm you have the right to share any content you upload. We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or someone else's rights.

Recipes and nutrition information in the Service are for general information only. We are not your dietitian or doctor. If you have allergies, medical conditions, or specific dietary needs, check ingredients yourself and consult a qualified professional. Nutrition values are estimates derived from machine ingredient matching and may be off by ±20%; do not rely on them for medical purposes.

When you tap an "Order" link, you leave DrChef and arrive at a grocery vendor (Blinkit / Zepto / Instamart / BigBasket / Amazon Fresh, etc.). Your transaction there is between you and that vendor. We do not earn commission today; if that ever changes, we will disclose it here and in-app.

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and we make no promise of uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be announced in-app where possible. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages beyond what is required by Indian law.

The Service includes a paid subscription tier ("DrChef Pro") which unlocks additional features. Current pricing, billing cycle, free-trial duration, and the full feature comparison are shown on the in-app pricing page before you subscribe. Payments are processed in India by Razorpay and internationally by Stripe.

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your profile and you retain Pro access until the end of the paid period. Refunds are available within 7 days of a charge — email hello@tasteitafter.com.

You can delete your account at any time via /delete-account or by writing to us. We can suspend or terminate your account for serious violations of these Terms. On termination, the rights you granted to us in Section 3 end, and we delete your data per the Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms when the Service changes materially. We will notify you in-app with at least 30 days' notice before changes take effect, unless the change is required by law or is in your favour (in which case it can be immediate).

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
